How It Started
We began selling vintage and antique rugs locally, then we brought a small curated collection online. Fast forward, and we have grown into a much larger home decor and furnishings shop with a dedicated team behind the scenes, who make our brand’s story come to life with each turn of the page.
The desire to help our customers bring comfort and beauty into their homes is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in keepsakes, in heirlooms, and in the stories and memories that last for generations. We are constantly sourcing beautiful yet functional items, looking ahead with curiosity and wonder, to bring in a curated, artisan made, locally sourced assortment of goods.

About Us
Rug & Weave was founded in 2015 by Svein and Sarah, husband and wife, and new parents to two young boys. With established sales backgrounds and the desire to be their own bosses they started a small Etsy shop selling vintage rugs which quickly gained momentum.
They were able to move online and expand their offerings to include pillows and other accessories. At first the team was small, but now Rug & Weave has grown to include many team members, an online shop and a brand new retail space in the old Mercury Building, downtown Guelph, at 14 Macdonell Street.
Svein and Sarah both have a keen eye for design and are eager to forge relationships with vendors and customers alike. Their tenacious spirits and contagious optimism keep Rug & Weave forging ahead, establishing it as a leading home decor business in the Greater Toronto Area. Svein and Sarah thank the community for all of their continued support and many blessings and can not wait to share all of the exciting things planned for the future with everyone.
